Summer, Perfectly Imperfect

We stand by brands—just like people—are at their best when they’re honest, a little messy, and fully alive. We’re calling it Messy Girl Summer—but really, it’s for anyone tired of curating and ready to just be.

We stand by brands—just like people—are at their best when they’re honest, a little messy, and fully alive. This summer, we’re taking a cue from the sun, the sea, and a bruised, juicy peach, inviting everyone (and ourselves) to let go of the polished and step into the mess and magic of it all.
We’re calling it Messy Girl Summer—but really, it’s for anyone tired of curating and ready to just be.
“Do I dare to eat a peach?”
— T.S. Eli
That line hits different right now. It's not about fruit. It's about fear. Fear of being seen, of saying the wrong thing, of getting it wrong. But at ROY, we think there’s power in the stumble. In the
flaws and vulnerabilities. In the real human and restaurant moments that don’t get filtered, optimized, or over-explained.
So this summer, we’re leaning into the un-designed. The real. The raw. The sweaty and sun-drenched. The grassroots and gut-first. Whether we’re building a brand, a menu, or a mood board, we’re asking: Does it feel alive?

Because the most radical thing we can do—on a screen or off- is to create something that feels like real life and has a soul.
So here’s your invitation:
- Eat the peach.
- Experiment with things that don’t make sense
- Launch the weird idea.
- Make a beautiful mess.
- Be yourself.
