Yonder Escalante

Based in a renowned national park, this extensive hospitality and design project encompasses upwards of 100 cabins, Airstreams and RV spots.

Yonder is first and foremost an experience. Set on a 25 acre bluff—part of the renowned Grand Staircase National Park—the glamping site was designed to connect guests with the stark but stunning landscape while providing creature comforts and a dash of road-tripping Americana nostalgia. Parked vintage cars provide fun places to watch movies in what was once an old drive-in theater. Community is cultivated under open-air covers beneath which guests cozy up for breakfast and gather around fire pits. Though the cabins have modern lines, layers of vintage elements—lights, board games, books—sourced from a local Salt Lake vendor are a nod to the quirky nearby town of Escalante. Come time for bed, guests get the best of both worlds and the true beauty of this property: A night awash in stars and the luxury of retiring to beautiful cabins with organic linens and four-star beds.
